Reiki is pronounced (Ray-key). The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words. Rei meaning Universal life, and Ki- meaning energy. A loose translation is Universal life force energy. Reiki energy flows through every living thing. Your Reiki practitioner helps you to better connect with that energy, so that your Reiki energy may flow through you freely, healing wherever it is needed, be it mind, body or spirit. Reiki is wonderful for bringing deep relaxation and calmness, which is needed for healing on any level. While it is true that reiki can heal on a spiritual level, it has no attachment to any Religion. Reiki truly is Universal life force energy that we all possess and have the birth given right to access at any time for healing in ourselves or others. Reiki always works for our highest good and can never cause any harm.
